Help your teen step confidently into the conversations that shape their future.
A four-week, in-person coaching program that helps teens build confidence, presence, and real-world communication skills through guided practice.
What it is
The confidence edge for interviews, scholarships, leadership opportunities, and the adult conversations that shape what comes next.
What your teen walks away with
Your teen is smart.
Launch Pad helps them become confident, polished, and prepared for life beyond high school.
You've watched it happen.
Your teen is bright, capable, and full of potential. But the moments that shape what comes next require more than good grades…
The college interview.
The scholarship conversation.
The first time an adult who matters asks a hard question and your teen needs to answer it well.
Those moments are easier when they have practiced. Launch Pad is an expert-led program where high school juniors and seniors learn exactly how to communicate with adults and then practice until they can do it with confidence.
Four sessions. Real coaching. Skills that show up when it counts.
Because confidence is not something students magically find when they need it. It is something they build.
Four sessions
Four ways to grow
Live, interactive, in-person
SESSION 01
Show Up: First Impressions & Social Confidence
The first 30 seconds matter more than most teens realize. Students learn how to enter a room, introduce themselves, and make the kind of impression adults remember.
SESSION 02
Critical Conversations: Confidence Under Pressure
Most teens have had very little practice holding confident, polished conversations with adults. This session changes that through practice, coaching, and repetition until it feels natural.
SESSION 03
Course Correction: Speak Up with Confidence and Purpose
College interviews. Scholarship applications. Leadership opportunities. They all require the same thing: a teen who can articulate who they are and where they're headed.
SESSION 04
Launch Forward: Leadership, Networking, and Real-World Application
Students leave with a polished introduction, a personal story they can tell with confidence, and the practice reps to back it up.
After four sessions, your teen will:
Have the Confidence to Show Up
The ability to walk into any room…a college interview, a scholarship meeting, a conversation with someone who matters, and make a strong first impression.
Have the Skills to Connect
Real conversational skills with adults. How to ask better questions, listen well, and leave people with a positive impression of who they are.
Be Ready for What’s Next
A practical edge going into college interviews, scholarship conversations, and leadership opportunities, built through real practice, not just exposure.
Confidence grows through practice, not lectures.
Experienced Coaching
Led by a facilitator with over 35 years of experience teaching communication, leadership, and people skills to professionals and students alike. Your teen is learning from someone who has done this at the highest level.
Small Cohort, Real Practice
Limited to 16 students so every teen gets coached, challenged, and enough repetitions to actually improve, not just observe.
Live and In-Person
Held in Plano. Face-to-face, in the room, with real people, because that is the only way to build skills that hold up when it counts.
Real confidence takes the right coach
Russ has spent more than three decades helping people communicate, build relationships, and show up with confidence in important moments. He has interviewed, hired, coached, trained, and mentored young professionals, and now brings that experience to students before the stakes get higher.
Launch Pad was built around a simple belief: the teens who stand out are not necessarily the smartest ones in the room. They are the ones who know how to communicate. Russ teaches that…and coaches students until they can do it themselves.

Built for the gap between achievement and readiness
Smart is not always the issue.
Many teens have the grades, activities, and potential. What they often lack is practice showing up confidently with adults.
Confidence needs reps.
Launch Pad gives students coached practice in introductions, conversations, interviews, personal storytelling, and leadership presence.
Parents want peace of mind.
Your teen leaves with skills they can use in college interviews, scholarship conversations, internships, first jobs, and everyday adult interactions.
Questions parents ask:
Is my teen too young for this? Too old?
1
Launch Pad is designed for high school juniors and seniors, but the real question is whether your teen is beginning to step into more adult conversations, interviews, internships, leadership opportunities, college visits, or networking moments. If those situations are getting closer, this is the right time.
What if my teen is shy or reluctant to attend?
2
That is exactly why Launch Pad is built around encouragement and practice. Students are not forced to perform before they are ready. They are coached step by step in a supportive environment where confidence can grow naturally.
How is this different from what is taught in high school?
3
Schools do many things well, but most students do not get repeated practice introducing themselves, speaking with adults, starting conversations, answering real-world questions, or presenting their personal story. Launch Pad focuses on the practical communication moments students will actually face.
What will my teen actually do during the sessions?
4
They will practice. Each session includes guided activities, coaching, repetition, and real conversations. Students will work on introductions, first impressions, conversation skills, storytelling, speaking with confidence, and presenting their growth.
My teen has ADHD / social anxiety. Will this work for them?
5
Launch Pad is not therapy or a clinical program, but it is intentionally small, supportive, and practice-based. Students are coached step by step and are not forced to perform before they are ready. If your teen has specific needs or concerns, we are happy to talk with you before registration.
